Data Import
In this context, data import refers to data received from a client, as opposed to information that may be received from a service bureau.

Client data import requirements differ widely with each client and these requirements must be specified in detail. Consequently, a custom import interface must be developed for each client, an example of which is shown in the link.

In general, the following types of data may be provided by a client for import:

• New placements
• Direct payments
• Recall of accounts
• New demographic data
• Reconciliation of balances
• Notice of bankruptcy
• Payment and commission statements
• Other relevant information
