Legal Data
The Legal tab maintains a set of data fields that represent the debtor’s state and county for legal purposes, which may differ from the debtor’s current address. Key dates, such as the start of suit and the date of judgment are recorded in these fields. Other fields include the suit parties, location of the court, county of jurisdiction, and the case docket number. If complaint amounts are entered, they are used in preparing complaint forms; otherwise, the principal and other balances existing at the time the complaint is filed are used.

The calculated Statute of Limitations date is displayed on this page. It is based on several factors including the date of last payment, charge-off date and the statute of limitation period according to local state laws.
