Maintenance The top level menu item Maintenance provides for a number of functions, including the following:
Table maintenance A number of tables contain user editable data. These include the Clients, Payees, Users, Letters, Forms, Attorneys, Referrals, Servicers, Zip Codes, and Actions. User maintenance can be done only by those with administrative privileges.
Password management The user is allowed to change their own password.
Updating account balances If necessary, all account balances and allocations can be updated via this menu option.
Calculating monthly interest The application calculates interest for each account based on client specific parameters. It can be set up to run-automatically during off-hours or can be initiated manually by the user from this menu item.
Packing and reindexing tables Like the interest calculation, the packing and reindexing of the tables can be done automatically during off-hours or can be initiated automatically by the user from the menu items Reindex or Create Indexes.
